新加入一个English Writing 的圈子，每天根据几个重点词语写一小段文章，我一时脑抽决定写一个故事，于是给自己挖了好大一个坑：

Day 1： Speaker, Speak, Spoon, Spell, Spend

The speaker spent a whole month preparing for his speech. It was supposed to be a great speech. However, when the moment came for him to speak, he was under a spell, and the magic power made him, forced him to throw his spoon at the King. The spoon hit directly in the King’s left eye and hurt him pretty bad. This incident spells a great trouble, a disaster actually, for the speaker’s entire family. From ecstasy to despair, from glory to humiliation, that’s the life, that’s the destiny.

Day 2:  sport, stand, spring, stand, stamp

The speaker was soon put into jail, the most scared, formidable place where the guards tortured the prisoners for sport. Sabrina, the speaker’s daughter, knew that her old father could not stand it for a long time. She must prove his innocence, get him out of the jail and she didn’t have much time left. An idea sprang into her mind and she rushed downstairs immediately. After a long walk, she came to a cottage by the river. She stood outside the door, waiting, waiting for something, anything to happen. It was freezing cold. She softly stamped her feet on the crumbling ground to warm them up.

Day 3: stay, stick, start, step, star

A powerful wizard has lived in this cottage since he chose to stay here three years ago. Nobody has ever seen his face. He won’t go anywhere without wearing a mask and a black cloak that covers all over his body. A villager once swore that he saw his face, and he swore that it was a face of dead, with four black holes of its eyes, its nose and its mouth, the might fury of a real demon. Since then the name “Lord of Death” stuck to him like forever. Sabrina didn’t know how long she had to wait. Suddenly, the door slammed open. Sabrina rose up to her feet with a start. She clenched her hands tightly and then stepped into a sort of corridor, where the celling was gracefully high ornamented with a maze of starry night.

Day 4: Stone, Store, Stop, Still, Storm

Externally, the cottage was nothing more than an ordinary cottage, the sort of ones you could find everywhere in this village. Internally, it was an enchanting magic world. The corridor was lined with rosemary, lilies, and jasmine burst into a carnival of white covering all over the stone walls on both sides. Sabrina reached her hand into a discreet pocket in her dress, where store an amulet from her dead mother. She held on to it tightly, trying to gather enough courage to go on. Then she stopped still when she heard a deep voice from the darkness, and the voice said: “You should not be there.” The voice was flat but seemed to have the mighty power of a storm in it.

Day 5,  Strong, Strange, Straight, Story, Street

Sabrina stared into the darkness, where the mysterious voice came from, but all she could make out was the lonely silhouette of a strong man. She couldn’t tell he was either young or old, ugly or handsome, well or ill-dressed. The strangest thing was his eyes, which she could actually feel them as if they looked straight into her soul, burning a hole on it. The fears she had felt since she walked into this cottage welled up in her chest, but she tried hard not to let them register in her voice. “Lord, can I tell you a story?” she heard her voice saying. There was no answer. However, silence was enough to spur her to go on. She told him everything: How her father, as a city guard, literary rose from the street to the Parliament, and how everything went out of control when he was about to deliver a speech. Everything.
