To go to the hospital or not to go, this is a question. In order to prevent us going, Huaxi hospital really shows the highest level of efficiency. Within only a few days, online clinic, from prescription, bookkeeping to drug delivery, is already open to all people in Chengdu. And most of the fees, including delivery and registration, are free of charge.
In fact, I already received the drugs I need for my treatment. The hospital also suggests us to postpone our regular checks. The message is clear: Do not go to the hospital unless you have to.
Unfortunately, there is one only exception: evaluation checks. For us, only evaluation checks can tell us if the present treatment works or not, if our cancer cells have been stopped from spreading.
I desperately hope my present treatment works. My body took a whole month adjusting to it. I really don’t want to relive all the details: constantly going to the bathrooms, suffering from nausea and lightheaded all the time, feeling so like a broken, stinky doll. A whole month of hell and now I finally get used to it and start to feel like a human again. So, please, please make it work.
So, should I go or not? Upon this question, I consulted my doctor and here is her response:
“Should I postpone my checks?”
“Yes, you can.”
“Is there any bad effect if I put it off?”
“If you worry about it, then come.”
“……..”
