I‘m glad to finish reading this novel about Love or money. It is difficult to believe Jackie killed her own mother, Mrs Clarkson, because she love mother and always want to let mother be happy. but Diane who is her sister , Roger who is her brother, Alber who is her uncle, peter who lose job for her mother's letter, Tom want to possee her half garden. they all want to kill Mrs Clarkson for money, but Jackie killed her mother for love, because she love Tom who is the gardener in her family a long time age, but Mrs Clarkson said no, she thought a gardener is not a good husband for a Clarkson girl.

- This is really a tragic story and it does also happen in real life. Can't understand how people can be so evil as to kill their own people for money.

- life is full of unexpected things, sometimes i would think about that, are those excellent stories wrote by the great writers also come from the real life? i believe so.
Once i saw a news regarding the couples, they quarreled then all of a sudden, one of them threw the little child out of the window, how can they do that?
