It hailed in Shanghai yesterday, which is so weird because never did I meet such things in Shanghai, let alone in the month of June.(Maybe I'm something of an ignoramus as I said before...)
As we all know, Shanghai is a place that warm in winter and cool in summer. Perhaps it is a little exaggerated, but it's true to some extent. Rarely can we see snow in Shanghai and I really lost some fun in my childhood.
It was a strange day yesterday. Maybe it's the reason why we say that weather in June is changeable like the face of a child. I went out with my colleague at noon and came back at about 2 o'clock. It was sunny and hot in the bus. After we came back to the office, it became dark outside and I guess it was going to be a thundershower. To my surprise, it rained slightly. When 4 o'clock went by, it was darker like the night and rained at last. The lightning was followed by a fearful clap of thunder. So horrible! My colleagues told me that it hailed in the central Shanghai. Many pictures were uploaded in the internet. A little crazy! But what I cared was how I got to school without an umbrella!
Fortunately, I worked in the finance department. That is to say there are many women there and women are always considerate as I see it. So Linda, one of my colleagues, offered me one, which I felt grateful.
Taking the bus of my corporation, I successfully arrived at the Wujiao Court near my university. The next thing I need to think of was how I got to the university with my bicycle in the heavy rain. I thought a lot and decided to have dinner first. I hoped the weather would be ok after my dinner.
To my big surprise, it stopped raining and became bright at the time I was searching for some place to have dinner. Great! And to my big big surprise, I saw a big and bright moon riding high in the sky at about ten. The weather is so weird. But I like such changeable weather hahaha~
