yes, i robot is the popular film as all known, produced in the year of 2004; However, the first time i saw it is in the last year. Here, i want to share my feeling about this movie with all. After seeing it, i remembered i was shocked by the romantic and beautiful music, intriguing plot, advanced technical and robot everywhere. Although i known it is only a film for preaching the great of the America and the people who can survived in any situation, i was advised. I am interested in the culture which makes this success and shocking movie.
Ok, i think its time to introduce this movie clearly.
I, robot was directed by Alex Proyas who is not famous as the leading role Will Smith, who is brilliant in his other movies, such as independence day(1996), enemy of the state(1998),the pursuit of happiness(2006) and many others.
I, ROBOT is about a world in 2035 in Chicago where robots are commonly seen and used as servants. Del Spooner(Will Smith) is a Chicago police detective who dislike the rapid advancement of technology, including robot. Spooner developed his distrust in one traffic incident, in which he is saved rether than a litter girl just because the robot counts the chance of him is bigger than that drowning litter girl.
Spooner was asked to investigate the death of Alfred Lanning(Cromwell), a robotics scientist and founder of U.S.Robotics, who fell out of his window and dead, but he left holographic projector, providing the clues of the mysteries of his death and the robot.
with the reluctant help of USR robopsychologist Susan calvin(Moynahan), Spooner find that unlike other older robot, the new NS-5 was controlled by one supercomputer WIKI. Spooner suspect the one independent , experienced robot,Sonny is the killer,and if it is true, whether it is a safe world?
During their investigation, under the help of Sonny who can dream like people, Spooner find the secret of the robot, it's WIKI, ruled all the robot and partially infrastructure. However, he wants rule the world, so he changed the laws in the robot.
Of course, WIKI failed. In the last scene of the movie, Sonny may be the next leader of the robots.
