奥德修斯

Odyssey is one of the two epics written by a blind Greek poet named Homer. It describes how the hero Odyssey took his own companies towards his homeland by ship while Akaiya chieftains were returning to their own country in succession after ten years of war, with 15,693 lines for this epic. The epic describes the story how Odyssey extravagated in the seas for ten years, experiencing all hardships and dangers. At last he got to his homeland Ithaca and he killed the noble who had occupied his palaces and made courtship to his wife, and finaly he reunited his whole family. The poet flashbacks the story in the midway, in art, the epic is rich in contents with the style of primitive simplicity and nature, and with strong rhythm. Since over 2,000 years ago, it has been considered to be the greatest epic in Europe by the westerners.
