Not A Chance

The "chance" of something happening is the measure of its possibility. To say "not a chance" is to say that something will not happen. Example: "Do you think you will be able to finish your report by five o'clock today?" Answer: "Not a chance. I'll be busy in meetings all day." "Not a chance" is a strong way of saying "no"; it can be used as a simple response.
