Bugging You

( bothering you ... )

Just as "a bug" is a "pest", and "to pester" is to bother, someone who is bothering you is "bugging you". Example: "My brother is bugging me."

If something is irritating you or making you upset, it is "bugging you". Example: "What's bugging you?" Another example: "Are you okay?" Reply: "This problem at work is bugging me."

If a problem is on your mind and you cannot forget about it, it is "bugging you".
