Call The Dogs Off

"Call the dogs off" means ask those people who work for you to stop bothering me. Example: "I already gave you your money. Call the dogs off."

Police and hunters sometimes use dogs to chase people, so a person who is quitting after being chased may say "call the dogs off". Example: "Okay, I give up. Call the dogs off."

If a person has friends or helpers who are bothering you and you want them to stop, you may ask him to "call the dogs off".
