Call The Meeting To Order

( officially begin the meeting with everyone acting as they should ... )

You call the meeting to order when you declare that the meeting has begun and ask everyone to pay attention and follow the rules. Example: "Everyone quiet down so we can call this meeting to order."

Once the meeting is "called to order", the rules of the meeting ("order") must be followed by all members. Example: "This meeting is now called to order."
