Dream Theater

梦剧场（英文：Dream Theater）是一个成立于1985年的美国前卫金属乐团，前身为在柏克理音乐学院就读的学生 约翰·明（John Myung）、约翰·帕特西（John Petrucci）和麦克·波特尼（Mike Portnoy）所组成的乐团麦加斯特（Majesty）。除了这三位最初的成员一直没有换过，至今其它两位成员为詹姆斯·拉毕（James LaBrie）

和乔登·罗德斯（Jordan Rudess）。
梦剧场是一个相当成功的乐团，创作过一些相当有名的歌曲（像1990年代著名的《Pull Me Under》，参与音乐电视网的演出），仅管在1970年代中期后，前卫摇滚就不在是属于主流市场，但他们始终保持自己的风格，也一直受到歌迷的拥护。
乐团成员在乐器上的高超技巧是广为人知的，也赢得许多音乐杂志的奖项。同时，各个成员也常常与其它颇具盛名的乐手合作。吉它手约翰·帕特西（John Petrucci）继艾瑞克·强森（Eric Johnson）、罗伯特·菲力普（Robert Fripp）和因格维·麦尔斯汀（Yngwie Malmsteen）之后，参与过 G3 巡回六次，超过任一位受邀的乐手。
他们最卖座的两张专辑分别是1992年出版的《影像与文字》和2005年出版的《第八乐章》，虽然《影像与文字》获得金唱片的荣耀，也被认为是前卫金属的开创专辑，但是在告示牌排行榜中最高也只得到61名，而《第八乐章》则获得告示牌排行榜的36名。
梦剧场在音乐上的多才多艺及融合许多乐风的音乐作品也使他们的演出更具多样性。他们也曾和下列乐团一起巡回演出，像是深紫、Emerson Lake and Palmer、铁娘子、Joe Satriani、King's X、Marillion、Megadeth、烈焰邪神、Pain of Salvation、刺猬上树乐团、Queensrÿche、Spock's Beard、Fear Factory、Enchant、X交响乐乐团和Yes。2005年他们也参加了“Gigantour festival”，由梦剧场和Megadeth作为主秀。
