My seventeenth birthday

My seventeenth birthday is the most unforgettable birthday in my 19 years.
It was on a weekday that I entered my age of 17. On the day before my birthday, I was wondering that my friends will certainly give me their best wishes early the next morning. And I slept with good expectations.
On the morning of my birthday, I went to the classroom joyfully. And then I met my best friend. What made me unexpected was that she just said hello to me as usual. My best friend forgot my birthday! What's worse was several friends I met then were all act as usual! No wishes! No gifts! None of my friends remembered my birthday! What I can only do was to comfort myself that their studies were too busy to remember my birthday.
After the class at night, I was going back to my dormitory, and my best friend said that she wants to take a walk with me on the playground because she felt upset. So I went to the playground with her. When we got closer to the playground, I found something special. There were many light sticks, candles, balloons and many gifts on the playground! It occurred to me that it was a big surprise! I rushed to this pile of lovely things, and all of my friends suddenly came out of the dark. "Happy birthday!" they yelled. How adorable they were!
I miss them very much when I'm writing these words.
