There are two internal forces that have ever impelled a man: the genuine fascination and the mean stubbornness.

How should we live a meaningful life? Much of the time we think about the heart of this matter. But if you indulge in it too seriously, there will be too many “covetous thoughts” for the way you live, with the result that life is unwittingly delayed.

If you sit quietly, time will pass, whereas inspiration does not perforce come. If you run with haste, though you suddenly alight on something, you will forget it before you seize it.

Why would you appreciate a drizzling rain to which you are exposed? When you know it is different from the calmness beside the windowsill or under the eaves, from the talks of the onlookers, and the clarity is different from the fancy.

I have never comprehended loneliness. It exists inexplicably like a myth, which only people who have never been lonely have talked about most.

Get merrily drunk today if only there is good wine, and don’t have worries though tomorrow will come. For the present we have happiness, and for the future we will naturally have what will intoxicate us.

When you feel prostrate with grief, why not tell yourself that many things in this world are not indispensable, just like birds are never aware of singing to human beings?

Young people are fond of illusions; when they are no longer young, only those who can withstand the difficult sense of reality are more equal to enjoy the sight of illusory love.

I have little learning, but much urge to compose. The most critical fallacy of mine has been to mistake immoderate “output” for pursuit of “input”.

There is essential difference between “daring” to be a loser and “admitting” to be one. Who urges that we must conform to the mainstream values of times? Every man has his right to choose. The most fearful is that up he cannot cheer, and down he cannot fall. Unhappiness mostly comes from choosing either struggle with envy at the ease of lying flat, or lying flat with obsession for personal value. Calmly accept in different stages the emulation, anxiety, relief, and the amount of action... Be harmonious with yourself, and only thus will you be happy.

When the dear words of others are projected like a beam of light into my heart, where certain passions have been dormant for a long time, certain seeds of thoughts not even realized by myself are awakened by this light to make their first buds sprout and the flowers bloom. The pleasure of being touched in the soul and ignited in the spirit is simply breathtaking.

Your thoughts on life deeply connect with me. Balancing fascination, embracing present joy, and being harmonious with oneself for happiness are powerful takeaways. Your eloquence in describing words igniting dormant passions is captivating. Thanks for sharing these inspiring insights.
