One yardstick of freedom is the desires you stick to. The more you desire, the less that freedom makes for you the room; but if your desire is suppressed to the degree that your capability could be too much in idle, regretfully your freedom would be dissipated.
Freedom is almost the same as the freedom of will, which means it is not given by time, by circumstances, or by anything else. As long as you feel like doing something, you can fly your own kite; those you covet but are forbidden by time or circumstances don’t prove the limit of freedom, but only teach that whatever doesn’t belong to you doesn’t relate to your scope of will.
Make yourself free! Allow all the fortune that God gives you to fall upon your life. Never misunderstand that since the sweetness of life is not brimming it could be absolutely not sweet. As for appetite which may be sometimes voracious and insatiable, know that when a stomach is filled, the appetite will naturally fade away.
