This is my first English journal entry on this blog. I want to use this platform to improve my writing skills. I am preparing for the International English Language Testing System (IELTS). Speaking, listening, and writing are my weak spots, so I want to improve them. I believe I can speak well if I can write clearly and smoothly.

However, after writing these sentences, I have found that it is a difficult task for me. There are many words I don't know how to spell and many grammar rules I don't know how to use. I know the first step is always the hardest. Only by doing the difficult things that scare you can you become stronger. Although I want to write more, it is so difficult. I don't know why I forget so many words I have recognized when I want to use them.

Another challenge is that I do not know how to organize my thoughts between sentences. If someone reads my paper, I think it will be tough for them to understand. I welcome everyone to give me some suggestions and correct my mistakes. I will keep writing, and I believe I will get better. “
