A girl of my department yesterday present a quit letter to me. She is a post graduated student this year, and just worked in our company for only 1 month. During this month, she behaved clever,easy going, and responsible. In a word, i felt she had the potential to become a good professional office lady, or to say in a Japanese style, a salary woman.

    So i invited her for a talk. I asked her why she want to leave, then she began to grumble：(just make her name as M) 

M: I feel losing. I can’t see my future here in Beijing.working in a company and making several thousands of money, I can’t see the hope of my life..

L(me): while you know you just begin your career now, sure you would make more and more money along with your increasing ability.....

M: No, I can’ t believe one day i would get as strong as you, or our female boss. And even i get there, still no hope.

   L: what hope do you mean?

   M:  stay in Beijing, work so hard, and life still very very hard. To marry, buy house, car, and raise baby....... All so hard, i feel i can’t bear them all in future. I feel losing.

   L: so?

   M:  so i would follow my mother’s advisement, and go back to my home town to take the civil service exam. I planed to prepare the exam for 1year, as the chance to change.

   L: so civil service exam is your future, in your consideration, right?

  M: yes, i have no confidence to work, in Beijing. I can’t see future.

  L: how would you deal with your boyfriend if you back to your hometown?

  M: i already asked him to break up these days. His family has no good fortune, if we stay together, life would be too hard....

  L:what? But your boyfriend is a graduate student of WW university( one of the top 5unniversities in China!)

   Then i became silent....
