It turns out that my hunch is right. Yet it still caught me by surprise.
The average score 7.5 is not that bad, though I expected it to be higher. The only problem is that I got 6 in the oral part.
This is an inacceptable score since most of the graduate schools demand a score over 6.5.And that's just the basic requirement. The school that I want to enroll in are teeming with candidates scoring 8 or 8.5 on average and 7 or 8 in the oral part.
All right, I am "tragic" again.Yet what can I do?
I recalled that the judge was pretty impatient even impolite when I was interviewed. He was so eager and so delightful to say goodbye to me...Understandably, I was among the last but two batch of interviewees. My topic was very something I didn't even think of.To talk about something old in your family?Even now I can't come up with something worth mentioning. So basically what I did was making up a story full of loopholes and stuttering.Yeah,I'm a foul lier...
Okay, I think a safe conclusion can be reached now.I fell hard in what I feared most. And I'm gonna pay for it, not just the 1400+ RMB but also spending another month preparing for the exam.I have already exhausted my exam papers(5,6,7) and the 8 is one year away. And I have got a handful of things to deal with these months. So I guess I have to get ready for a desperate fight this time.Next time I don't want anything lower than 7 and I will be in need of some good luck.
As for the topic, can anyone of you offer me some suggestions?I still have problem thinking of an satisfactory answer, though it's highly unlikely that I would run into it again...
