You are not lame

Occasionally, I bump into such kind of a guy, in an English QQ group, who comes out criticizing what those learners posted all sucks. Generally, the criticism is with offensive and aggressive humiliation. When he is incapable of his cynicism in English (usually even he uses English, most of words are just vulgar and disgusting), then he just uses Chinese to show his scorn by saying how stupid, ridiculous, dumb, incompetent and useless those learners are. Such a case is often full of unhappiness with dirty words and indifference. All of a sudden, the group extinguished to silence. Gone with that happy moment.
To be honest, that kind of a guy is really lame. He does not own the humble attitude to study and knowledge. If you observantly investigate his behavior, mostly finding that he has not even offered constructive suggestions and good tips to those who indeed need help. He could have sat aside by saying nothing if he was really thinking highly of his goodness that nobody else can be his rival. While he performs in unctuous tone and just sucks.
What a big deal? Even though those who currently are not so adequate to English, they are on the way trying to learn and improve. That is quite a thing deserved to advocate. Not everyone is good at something in the first place. We were born with unknown idea to get to the bottom of what we hear and see. That is pretty much the reason we keep learning.
We learnt mathematics, literature, ABC at school. Some got As in all their subjects, some were just with moderate scores. There was even a small portion of students who were considered as lame ones because they rarely performed well on studies. Years later, those who got As have high possibility of owning eminent social status, and also those who were not so good at studies before still have chances of becoming successful.
Everyone is unique. We have potential to better life. A butterfly fluctuates wings and stirs turbulence a thousand-mile away. Constant study generates greatness which you might do not notice at present, years later you would understand its significance. Do not go backwards. Do not underestimate your power.

- You are right. That is why learning English through chat rooms like QQ, Wechat etc are unsuccessful because there is bound to be some donkey who would come out criticizing the standard of English of others. Just disregard these idiotic people as they are destructive and worthless. Even here at Dioenglish, I was attacked saying that my style of writing is no fun. He said he prefers the use of slang and making fun of people. I told him, he was at the wrong site, go somewhere else and good riddance.
OK let me tell you something funny. One of my American customers thought I was a Chinese person and English was not my main language. He picked up a few misspelled words from my letter and told me to study English properly before attempting to write in English. This was my reply to him......
''Look here Shakespeare! If you are so good in English, you should be teaching and not transacting business. By the way, I am a 100% British national from Leicester, England. English was invented by my ancestors. English is my main language and mother tongue too. Furthermore, I graduated from a UK university with honors. Who do you think you are and what are your credentials that makes you feel fit to criticize my proficiency in English? Take a good look at your own letter, just a first glance and I have noticed several mistakes. Shame on you.''
The counter reply from the customer was .....
''I thought you were Chinese. Why didn't you say so earlier. Sorry about that.''

- That kind of situation happens, and I just get used to it. So I do no waste much on that, and study by myself, including reading, writing, listening and speaking.

We can create chances to do something, and thanks to the internet that we can access to many learning materials and also have the chance to communicate with others.
All of plans are needed to be done. Action is what we need. Somebody calls for direction of learning and asks for way to study. While he does not even put much time to practise. Finally he failed to anything due to the lack of exercises.
Everybody makes mistakes. So it is ok when we misspelt words or did wrong things only if we can correct them later. We usually work too hard on the English skills, such as grammar, actually, it is not that efficient to study and master well. The best way is to put those what we learnt into pragmatic use, in doing so, we can make progress and figure out what else that we still need to make up to be better.

Confidence is the most important quality for everyone, especially for a language leaner. Because they must overcome their weakness and show up theirself in an strange language.
Mistakes is not horrible. Because it is a key part to get improve. We should hold a tolerant and modestly mentality to everyone include yourself.

- You are quite right. You have already know the importance of learning a language by hard work. Do not care those who just haven't given any support to you and even they look down upon you. Believe yourself. You can do it well.
