Year-end is always HR's peak time, so you can see I have not updated my blog for almost one week...Everyday, I have to deal with a lot of e-mails, calls, interviews, and so on.
The most important issue I'm dealing with these days is performance review. Somebody may say: it's easy, everyone finish their own performance document and send it to HR, then it's done. No, things are not simply as you think and see. When everyone finished their performance document, HR will get a preliminary ratings and then send it to the upper entity so they can do the calibration work. Then my trouble time is coming... I will receive e-mails request us to adjust the rating again and again, and I will do the adjust work as the e-mails requested again and again... So when finally the performance review finished, the final version is totally not the original version...
