I came to Shenzhen in 2008 and it’s been six years now. When I came to Shenzhen for the first time, I was only 23 years old, now I’m 29 years old.
In 2008, I knew nothing about network, my current company hired me and I was grateful about that.
Recently I decided to change my job, but both my boss and director persuaded me to stay. I decide to stay again for it’s been hard to reject them.
I didn’t send my resume, instead, I only refreshed my resume so that companies could keep an eye on me. I’ve been received five interviews in total. One was from Avnet, the technical said I was lacking of experience in Fortune 500 and he needed to discuss it with his boss. One was from Huizhou, the pay wasn’t bad, I meant, in Huizhou, but not good enough in Shenzhen, I just refused it. The third one came from Cisco, but the working place was Dalian, so I had to refuse it politely. The fourth one came from Huawei, the first guy didn’t give me exact address, so I didn’t go there, the second guy decided to hire an advanced network engineer, he was scared of risk hiring me for I was lacking of experience in big network. The fifth one came from ZTE, those two interviewers were nice guys and they decided to hire me, I’m afraid I have to tell them I’m sorry I can’t go there.
Since I decide to stay at the company, what will I do? I have to learn my English and networking at the same time. What’s more, I have to learn business and management from now on. Before I only focused myself on technology and LHP, now I should focus myself on business and management.
Business can help me have my own business. Management can help me manage my followers. History can help me avoid past mistakes. Philosophy can help me know my real self. Literature can help me know life deeper. Networking can help me know the world. English can make me global instead of regional.
In a word, learning is a lifetime thing. What’s more, health is the most important thing.
Soon I’ll go home to enjoy my reading. Maybe I should return my book this evening.
