In a long time almost all of people in China considered that the Chinese army and the North Korean army absolutely triumphed in the Korean War, and the UN forces were heavily beaten by them. Because Omar Bradley, the General of the Army in the United State Army, had admitted the Korean War was “the wrong war, at the wrong place, at the wrong time, and with the wrong enemy”. In fact, Bradley’s words were misrepresented.  The American only admitted that they just protected world peace and justice in spite of they paid a heavy price in the Korean War.

       Bradley said these words when the US administrator discussed which way they would select before the Korean War, enlarging the war from Korea to also include Red China or having a limited war in the Korean Peninsula. Bradley stood by the former, then for convincing his opponent he said that this strategy would involve America in the wrong war, at the wrong place, at the wrong time, and with the wrong enemy if enlarging the war. By the way, by Bradley’s means the right place should be Europe, the right enemy should be the Soviet Union.

       After all, what Bradley said was before the start of the war, not after the end of the war. The words were forecast, not conclusion. So we will correctly comprehension the words, and have not been cheated.
