It's going to draw a comma to the year of 2011. I have never thought that the year could end up so fast that I haven't even realized. Thankfully it has not been a tough year.

Maybe it's time to slow down and look back for what I have done through the year so that I may be prepared for the coming one. Life is as hectic as it always, if not for struggling at work then must be savoring life. No matter how much I like my job, how enthusiastic I am into it. I am neither a workaholic nor am I aggressive. So fulfilling the duty and taking the responsibility is what I am busy about. I have become conformist, and the routine has not varied a whit since. Though I truly know that is not up-and-coming attitude. All in all, work has been smooth all the way, no excitement or disappointment. Is it necessary to learn to be ambitious as well as driven at work? You may definitely say, yes it is! It's a good question to ponder, maybe the world is going to be my oyster. Who knows?

Life is what we make it to be, but not what you want it to be. So how's my personal life of this year? It's wonderful indeed! The most meaningful thing is that my Mom spent a memorable National Day, a week holiday with me. She suffers from carsickness, so she is terribly afraid of taking buses. My Dad always encouraged her to go out have a look, happily, she accepted the challenge and started her tough journey. We had a fantastic time together. She said this is the most unforgettable journey she has ever had.

I think it is necessary to cultivate some hobbies that can improve life quality. One of my avocations is to learn English. My English has improved a lot, but far from well. Now not only I can enjoy reading English materials, but also capable of communicating with native English speakers. The mentionable thing is that people commented that I have British accent. It's unbelievable and amazing! Because I am learning American English and what's more, I do imitate them.

Anyway, to learn English has a lot of benefits. You may meet with like-minded people, to get advice, to share experiences, to learn the foreign cultures, to make alien friends. So learning English, by occupying spare time so constructively, makes a person contented, with no time for boredom.

I am so happy to share with you that I won an English speech in this year. They rewarded me a crystal medal. 

 Finally I taste the sweetness of persistent effort.

No matter how poor my written English is I am sure that it will not be a problem as long as I work on it assiduously.

My 2011 is full of happiness and I have got a sense of improvement too. How's your 2011?
