Tonight, i studied something intriguing about English vocabulary that are translated from Chinese,having felt very funny during the course. let me show you some " small brother,humble surname,clumsy writing ,shabby shelter and so on" at the beginning of the class, most of us were uninterested .however,as that prat content showed, we started to focus on the board.
In China, we are cautious about the polite expression ,especially in ancient times. we are always tend to denigrate ourselves to upgrade others ,and then it's regarded as kind of polite . what a interesting thing.but we should fully aware that similarly expression in Chinese does not mean that mean that it is equally polite in Chinese.
At last,i still have a lot of knowledge to learn and i will try my best to do it !

- Lol no wonder the westerners think Chinese is the most difficult language, sometimes even us Chinese can't figure out the real connotation of others' words...

- There are many traditional expressions that denigrate us to upgrade others so that our respect and politeness are conveyed fully. It is a kind of cultural phenomena, and I think it is difficult to translate these culture-loaded words in English authentically. The unknowns are more with knowing more, and we just continue to learn.

- yep.endorse, Chinese is one of the most hardest languages in the world which is a big barrier for foreigners being intend to resettle in China. a single work has many connotation in different context. we are proud of our language !!!
