At the request of Mr.Illion, I would like to take this opportunity to outline his performance in our university. Mr. Illion is an intelligent and ambitious young man with good character, and I believe he is a suitable candidate for your postgraduate program.
 
I have acquainted with Mr. Illion for more than two years. In the 2010-2011 and 2011-2012 academic years, he successively attended my classes for the modules Color Composition, Fundamentals of Pattern, Advertising Design, DM Advertising Design and Poster Design. All the courses has a lot with commercial activities, so in my teaching I strongly encouraged my students to conduct market study to understand market needs and define product portfolio. Mr.Illion focused on market research and in doing so he extended his knowledge and understanding of different design concepts and ideas and developed practical skills. Given his intelligence and dedication to the study, Mr. Illion also did well in the examinations, reaching the top place in most subjects. Among his strengths, what impressed me most was his active engagement in the class discussions and self-learning ability. He was good at analyzing the problems from different perspective during case studies, and was capable of independently accomplishing the work of design with perfect effect.
Besides academic success, Mr. Illion is also good leader. As monitor to his class, he was receptive, appreciative and fair when dealing with suggestions from his classmates and had successfully organized some interesting and rewarding extracurricular activities for the class.
 
As detailed above, Mr. Illion is intelligent, passionate and sensible and is a great asset to our university. I recommend him to your postgraduate program without reservation, and I believe he will make greater achievements at your university.
