文明出行

Hot 1572 views. 2013-10-5 00:52 | thousands, tourists, China, world

Tens of thousands of tourists from China went aboard these days to see some of the world famous tourist attractions, It's been a focus of the foreigners about  whether Chinese tourists  who have left their footprints everywhere could show the elegant demeanor of citizens from a big country possessing fivethousand years of civilization.

“ reading thousands of books  isnot equal to traveling thousands of miles”, great  ancient  scholars left us lots of poets and literary works glorifying great mountains and rivers of motherland,   and today  many people want to get themselves moving and  go to appreciate the beauty of the nature.

Data revealed that the number ofthe Chinese tourists having outbound traveling in 2012 reached seventy million, and this year the number is expected to go over one hundred million. Chinese tourists also consumed a great deal of money in foreign countries, and in fact, china now has become the number one in terms of the outbound tourism consumption. No one else can compete with.

“Chinese guests are coming!!”  foreign tourist organizations, all without exceptions, have viewed the reception work as an important task. In order to doit well,  some world-class resorts haveadded Chinese scripts to the road signs, relevant assistant including cops are trained to speak some simple Chinese. Because they see the potential of these guests,  their consumption capacity, and the guest quantity. However,  the occurrence of some events in the previous years has got Chinese guests in a passiveposition,  a small part of tourists immorally scribbled on the walls and historical items.  ill-mannered behavior destroyed china’s national image. And actually our government's central civilization office has seriously noticed the negative influence of this, and printed several new documents,  and in the future it would be considered breaking the tourism law to act like that,  and people implicated will face penalty.  Today anindividual’s uncivilized behavior might be enlarged by the internet, which might hurt china’s image. Therefore,  tourists have duty to give up bad habits like spitting, wasting food, rushing to getseats etc.  be more open minded, generous, and be communicative, never look down upon others.

Chinese tourists visiting other countries have drew lots of attention. On the one hand, they are seen as willing to spend money and are seen as good customers. One the other hand, unfortunately, some have bizarre habits and have seriously damaged the image of Chinese visitors.

However, foreigners and residents in other countries are quire tolerant and understand that the country is gaining affluence and their social behaviour needs time to catch up.

Allow time for them to change and improve. There are also quite a lot of decent and respectable Chinese visitors and I have personally met a lot of them including housewives who are very pleasant and don't have any unpleasant attitude or habits. They follow the rules of their destination countries and understand that when you visit other countries you have to follow the customs there. Enter a village, follow it's customs. When you go to Rome, do what the Romans do.

I cannot stand the attitude of Hong Kong residents. They like to exaggerate the negative sides of Chinese visitors, publicize and amplify them out of proportions. The Hong Kong resident themselves are snobbish, look down and laugh at mainland visitors. We in HK do not have the right to criticize too much because after all, the HK economy relies on income from the visitors.

In conclusion, we all have to be more tolerant and allow inclusion. Nobody is perfect.

Yeah, "A little thing spoils a great deal of honey".   HongKong might be mainland travlers'  shopping heaven,  Media has reported many times HongKong residents do not like mainland visitors.  but I believe that's just a few of them,  most people have no prejudice against them.
