It took her almost a whole life to leave the man who had abused, beat, and tortured her, because she was in a terrible quandary. And it’s not difficult to figure out what fueled that quandary, is it? The F-word. Fear.

The fear to fight against the fate, to deny the deep-rooted belief: a wife is not an independent individual but one of her husband’s personal belongings and if she gets abused, that is only because she fails to please her husband.

However, when that man threw away her daughter’s beloved guitar, and she saw the tears, the despairs in her daughter’s eyes, and suddenly a voice seemed to whisper in her ears: Are you going to watch, watch your girl stepping into your shoes, being taken away all her dreams, smiles and even hope, and then spending a whole life in regrets?

And she’s come to the conclusion that there is no way she would let that happen. The desire to protect her daughter, to get her smiles back, comes above all the fears in the world.

Sometimes, you might be surprised that how simple it is to conquer fear. A tiny step-forward, and a brand-new world.
