follow your own course
The following passage comes from The Little Prince,
"All men have stars,"he answered,"but they are not the same things for different people. For some, who are travellers, the stars are guides.For others, they are no more than little lights in the sky. For others, who are schoolars, they are problems. For my businessmen, they were wealth. But all the stars are silent.You--you alone-will have the stars as no one else has them--. In one of the stars i shall be living. In one of them i shall be laughing.And so it will be as if all the stars are laughing, when you look at the sky at night……you -only you- will have stars that can laugh!"
Just as what is said above, the stars mean all kinds of things to different people. It is the people who can thought that give meanings to the stars. The stars are just lifeless and silent.
Then , something comes to my mind . In our life, sometimes we pay much attention to what other people judge ourselves. Sometime, for some purpose, we want to be someone or something in his/her eyes.But , after having taken much actions, we find it tired and even we cannot find ourselves. We even cannot recognize ourselves and donot know what to do next.
Then i know that , just like the stars, they are silent and just do their private job. What they are to other people means nothing to themselves.It is the people that make them something and that do not help.
Imagine that the stars know that they can be guide and then they will pay much attention to this function. And then they know that they can be lights in night and spare some attention.Then they know that they can be problems and ……
What will their life would be?There would be a mount of presure. However, they do nothing.They just do what they can.Maybe they do not know that they can be guide for travellers.And that doesn't mean a lot to them.
In my opinion, it is the same to us. Be youeself, then your life will be colourful and interesting.Just as an proverb by Alghieri Dante goes that , follow your own course and let people talk.

- easier said than done. Let people talk, juts see who they are, what kind of people matter. If they are your superior, your boss, your teachers, your girlfriends, you can't just let them talk and you go on. Because you can't go on, they will stop you, beat you, punish you, ruin you, kill you, not physically, but socially, politically. You are a dead man politically. Can a dead man walk, follow his own course?
