Pressure
As is well know, house prices rise higher and higher and our salaries rise like a snail’s pace. For many of us, our incomes unfortunately have not kept up with the rising prices. And then we have the pressure.
We always have tons of work to do and they have seemed endless. We are overwhelmed with jobs.
The wife earned more than you and then our men have the pressure.
As we grow older, we need to get married, have a baby and support our parents. And then we feel overwhelm with all kind of invisible pressure.
After a few years, we became bored with our work and went into a new field. The challenge of new work, the new working environment and the new place brought us new pressure.
During the old classmate reunion, the comparison each other put us additional pressure.
The pressure exists in every corner of the world.

- We have all been pushed into a highly pressure, senseless, competitive society. People keep chasing wealth and influence, but in the end still end up in a boring, hopeless and low paid job. There are lots of demands on the male side to improve the job and income. We should understand that now everything is automated and mechanized, therefore, men have less demand in the market. Computers have also changed the face of the job market and accordingly, it is easier for females to get jobs and good pay.
Every now and then, we hear Mr. this and that got a good job, has a good house and fancy car. How true is that, we never know. Perhaps all these things are obtained by loans which they can never pay off. A lot of people are living on credit or loans just to show off and impress others. The bubble would soon burst and they would likely end up in despair.
Sometimes it is kind of funny to me. Whenever, I go to social parties or gatherings, long lost friends come in acting like a big shot, wearing brand name clothes with a fancy car outside. He would entice me to invest in his business with promise of good returns. On further checking, I found out that he owns a failing company which is running into debts and waiting to go bankrupt.
It is not that easy to become wealthy. You need to have sufficient financial strength, lots of usable money, suitable connections, knowledge and the ability to run a business. There are also a lot of invisible risks in starting a business. How many people can do that unless he comes from a rich and influential family?
Therefore, don't let the noise around you confuse your thoughts. Learn as much as you can and when there is a chance, try your best to achieve whatever you have achieved. Life is short, don't waste it by chasing the unknown. Wealth does not mean happiness. You may already have a family and that alone is sufficient for you to have a reasonably happy life.
