What's Your Attitude Towards the Two Views?

Here are two views of my colleague, an old man who is near the age of retirement:
- If the husband continues taking his responsibilities to his wife and home, then there is no need for his wife to be so serious when he has a lover outside.
- Education is for those idle people who have nothing to do. When you have a job, all you have to do is to do your job well; there is no need to take a higher education. Esp. when you are a girl, then the most important thing is to rear children.
I just want to ask,"Are old people wiser? or are they just old-fashioned and conceited? and in what a lower position has he placed modern women in 21 century?"

- it's only a attitude to life.if you wonder a high life level or proud than others,you must work more hard in geting education and your work.what you need to do is get the balence of this two sides.how do u think,the next floor??

- Tange: the aged person always has the old views on woman ;I esteem his different views. But I was rather angry when he said only idle person read books on hearing that I wanted to have a higher education.

- I hold a different opinion about this two views. As for view 1, what if a woman earns more than man in the family, can she go outside to find another lover? This is a question about one's loyalty to the family, it is a question about people's quality. As for view 2, it is a question about education, nowadays the education contains so much utilitarian color. In fact, the education cannot be balanced by the time we spent at school, it should go along with us through our whole life, we need it all the time. The higher you stand, the farther you can see. Both man and woman carry responsiblities on their shoulders, just need we people to balance them well. As for old people, every people is different, some old people are wise and kind and full of love, while some have bad tempers and bad qualities. Like smoking, some people like it, some don't.

- Aa far as I am concerned,possessing all good temperament and quality is needed to everyone,expecially for woman.As you can see,in this realistic and modern society,woman's society position has arised gradually,but in people's potential minds,they are so conservatived,it seems that the society is still man-dominanted.I think sometimes the society problem---Cheating on mate,high rate of divorce ,in some extent,due to the temptations ,education grade,personal quality and having a firm belife or not.Maybe I began to regarded the cheating problems as normal,if it happens to me in the future,I first will be more strong and make sure I can live better without man.
Every single woman should be financially independent,can't depand on others.
