Why do many people in China study english ?

In my point of view , English is a general language in the world. As social development and progression，world is just like a big family . Each member need to comunite with one or another .So does a language . Since China's entry into WTO,China's reform and opening drive will enter a new historic era. At the same time, The quality and efficiency of economic growth improved constantly .  China' s open policy has attracted many foreign investors . The foreign funded enterprises  including joint ventures, cooperative enterprises and wholly foreign-owned enterprises. It needs a sufficient number of men and women with representative linguistic skills。 Maybe it is one reason why people in China study english. Another is that some people might be want to go abroad for advanced study or travel.

Sorry, There is not a good way for me to learn english  . But I keep study english everyday . Scanning the web, reading a book ....

Since China joined the WTO, trade between china and the rest of the world has been increasing at a high speed every year. Foreign investment and joint ventures are mulitiplying rapidly . A popular saying is :China is connecting the world.Communications between Chinese and foreigners are more important than ever.The needs come from all aspects of life, trade, joint ventures , training , commercial negotiations, service sectors , and many more .
