These days we can find so many people have possessed two names: a Chinese name and an English name. We can’t determine what our Chinese name is, but we have the freedom to pick up an English name for us. So, is there a story or any special meaning behind your English name? Among so many names existing, why you choose this one?
Start from myself. Silvia, the heroine of a movie called “the interpreter”, an intelligent interpreter worked for the United Nations. I love the role so much that I get the name as my English name.
