I have a lot of free time recently, so I like to listen to the voa special english to kill the time. There have no chinese translation, so i think i can do it by myself , i have never done this before , it's very hard, but i think i can try my best , No pain ,No improvement. The world has almost seven billion people. At least two billion are expected to be on the Internet by January. New growth is mostly from developing countries. Yet only twenty-one percent of their population is online. 世界上大约有70亿人，截至（今年）1月份，已经有20亿人注册登录互联网，新增网民几乎都来自发展中国家，即便如此，这些网民也只占这些国家人口的21%。
A group called the World Wide Web Foundation is working to make the Web more usable to more of the world. 一个叫万维网基金的组织正努力使互联网造福于世界上更多的人。
Tim Berners-Lee is the British computer scientist who invented the World Wide Web. He announced the launch of the Web Foundation last November. tim berners-lee就是那个发明万维网的英国计算机专家。他于去年11月宣布了互联网基金的启动。
