We moved office at the end of August with loads of office supplies including lockfast,office seatings and so on. We hired a moving company to move and transport. As soon as the porters reached our apartment, they were astonished to see lots of heavy things. Things were so many that may not be contained in a wagon whose capacitance were 1.5 Litre though.

       I started to oberserve them as they get things moved. There were 5-6 porters and many of them were at their fourties. But the tortuer moving life had make them looked much older than their years. An old look was a necessary result of over-exertion.

       Our office were on the second floor and there was no lift at all. You could not imagine how they lifted things on their shoulders or back unless you were there.They had prepared many big red belts to tie things to themselves.Heavy things made them to knee down on the floor so as things could be lifted up. They all walked like an old man with a hump, oh, what a heavy hump,as they were carrying heavy family burden and work load. I couldn't bear to watch any longer and found life was so cruel and tough.

       As far as I can see, many people call porters as unskilled labour and even mock them as slaves. How narrow-minded and cold! They earned their life in a hard and legal way, but why should they be treated that way.Porters eat no good food nor lived in a good place. They are in a dark social class but they are all eager to live better.This hard period is temporary. They should be respect and should not be mocked.
