The second asignment has handed back from my advanced English teacher.  This time I got B.  I peeked at the asignments of the two girls sitting in my front row.  Both of them got an A.  Do you know what mark I got last time?  It was a C.  I has made progress, but I am not happy.  Why I am always a B?  Can I be an A? 

These two asignments were writings.  My writing skills are not good.  How do I know that?  From the day the writing part on the exam appeared,  I rarely did well.  This makes me wonder, ‘My brain is inferior to those who can always write well?  I can not write well in Chinese, neither English.  In fact, all three boys cann’t write better than the girls in our class.  We make more grammatical mistakes, and often shift off the topics.  How’s that happened?  It’s really true that boys are not doing well in learning languages?  I believe so.  If that’s not true, why there are so many girls in our class?  The gender is totally unbalanced.  Somebody may can blame that the boys are lazier, not patient enough.  However, I think I have been working hard.  Why I cann’t do well?  Manybe the answer lies in the fact that they are working harder. 

Everytime I do badly on the exams, I feel not happy because I always want to be on the top.  A failure can not block my ambitious goal.  When failures come to me again and again, I am doubting my abilities.  That’s so discouraging.  Thankfully, it takes me not a long time to revive from such depressed situations.  There is a famous cartoon in Hongkong called Mcdull.  A little pig called Mcdull is the leading actor.  He is a dull boy.  He can not do well on all exams, but he lives happily. He is so easily satisfied.  He lives with his mother.  One time he got an “H”.  The teacher wrote the ‘H’ that looked like an ‘A’.  He was so happy to tell his deskmate that he got an ‘A’.    When the deskmate told him the truth, he was so sad.  He said, ‘ I almost got an ‘A’.  When he got home, he told his mother that he almost got an A this time.  His mohter blamed him that he could not tell an H and an A.  To him, H to A is not a long distance at all.  He believes that someday he can be an A if he tries harder.  Though he is not smart, he has a goal in life.  That makes me so moved.

I am not talented.  My university is not a famous one. I am not that smart.  There is always somebody out there much better than me.  I have goals.  No matter what I face, I know if I work hard, I will get what I want someday.  Keep your dream in your mind forever.  Don’t let it die.  Thanks for all the friends commented on my blogs.  That made me want ro write something down.
