Guangzhou is the capital of Guangdong Province.   It is the third biggist city in Chian.  It’s population is large.  I am studying in Guangzhou.  Today is another misty day.  Guangzhou’s weather is deteriorating.  Its economic is developing so fast but there is a price to pay- the environment.  The air pollution is severe.  There has a new weather phenomenon appeared called haze in Guangzhou.  This haze occurs in the area that has been polluted.  Dust and other pollution materials are flowing in the sky that make it unclear.  An respiratory doctor said, ‘ In the past, it’s not easy to find a person who got respiratory tract cancer to do some research, but now it’s quite easy to find one.  Every month, there are some patients who got respiratory tract cancer hospitalizing.’  Why?  The weather is the problem.  In order to develop the economic, we are sacrificing the environment.   My friend who is from northern China told me that when he was on the plane, seeing from the sky, Guangdong is coverd in a haze.  He could not see the buildings and the landscapes clearly.  A foreign child could not breath well when he stepped out of the plane at the Guangzhou airport.  When he went back to his country, he breathed well.  It’s so clear there is something wrong with the air.  There are so many factories in Guangzhou.  The waste emission makes the weather condition so bad.  Chinese government keeps telling people that we are finding a friendly way to develop our economic, so as to balance the economic and the eivironment.  As a Chinese, what I saw is not true.  I am so worried about the pollution in China.  Some weather experts predict that the North Ice Cap will disappear soon.  The pole bear is in danger.  We should stop polluting the environment or fingure out some effective ways to balance it.  To keep the diversity of the world is so important.  I don’t want many generations later.  Human being is the only species living on the earth.
