I am living in an apartment with my parents in downtown now. My neighbor's door is just opposite ours. We can see each other's living room if we open the door at the same time. I think I know the family of three very well. The dad is working for the government and the mom is a nurse. The kid is younger than me that she is still in primary school now. They are always willing to help us if we need it. We see them very often and my neighbor always invited me to dinner. They are the best neighbor I've ever known. The great thing about them is that they are genuine. I still remember the time we borrowed four eggs from them when our fridge didn't have enough eggs for cooking accidentally.
Neighborhood dispute often happens in the light of the rumors. The most common cause is the noise that can be prevented actually if you always put yourself in other people's shoes. You have to keep silent at night that the people on the other side of the wall are preparing for bed maybe when you live in a flat that the neighbors and you only separate by a wall. The boundary is another popular reason for the quarrel between neighbors. The arguments always arise beside the fence or other shared facilities.
Neighbors can help each other, of course, such as keeping an eye on your neighbors' place when they work at night or go out of town for a period of time. Moreover, when disaster strikes, the people who will save you, and people who will help you, they are usually the neighbors. If the earthquake happens in the very early morning and you are still slept on the bed, then being buried in the debris. So the neighbor who knows where to dig in the debris to find you early enough in the process for you to survive.
