Today is a hard day for me because I had to quit.

 

       This afternoon I got a phone call from our HR Miss Wang who told me in a hurry that I had to fly to Chengdu, Sichuan Province with my other three colleagues tomorrow for a professional training for special thread, which would last two to three days. This was out of my expectation. I was shocked and said OK .  I was not happy because I didn't know whether I could go there with them. 

 

       We four are English interpretors for quality inspectors and we are still in probation in which we have to get trained before the production of our pipes. We just finished a week long training program a couple days ago in Hengyang,Hunan Province and we were told then ,"that's the training", so I thought" that's the training". I didn't know even the HR didn't know  we had to fly to Chengdu. She told me immediately when she got the news. However I didn't think that I can make it because of some personal reason which is very important. Unfortuately, if I can't go there, I will lose my job. So I had to quit.

 

      I feel bad now, not because I lost my job, but lost them. Although we knew each other for not more than a month, I liked them more than any other people I met before. The other three interpretors are in the same age of mine and also in the same major of mine. What's more exciting, we have a lot things in common, so when we are together, we are really very happy. The HR, Miss Wang, who is in Chengdu, always cares about us. The traineer, Miss Fang, who have worked in the company for more than six years, is very considerate and very professional. She taught us a lot and was never mean to give us opportunities to practise with foreign inspectors. I really appreciated her for this. The three quality inspectors are very friendly and they are always supportive. Leo, the manager of quality department, is very handsome and gentle. I love him the best.  Sammy and Mario speak with obvious accent for they come from Lebanon, but their accent are very lovely.  I miss them so much.

 

     I don't want to quit. But I have to . I'm very glad to meet them and know them. They are the best people I know since I had a job a year ago. I don't mind if they will still remember me, but I'll never forget them.
