Love and bread, how to choose?
After three-month relationship with her boyfriend, a friend of mine determined to see his home with her mother during this Spring Festival holiday. Coming back to work from the holiday, she told me that she didn’t know what to do as the boy’s family condition was not very good. The boy’s parents are plain farmers who have been living in their tile-roofed house for a long time. They don’t have any other sources of income except for a few acres of farmland. The boy has a brother who is 5 years younger than him but has already had a four-year old kid, as the boy’s brother didn’t receive much education and got married earlier in the rural area. Now, the boy’s nephew is raised by the boy’s parents and his brother is working in Shenzhen. My friend said the boy’s family was so poor that she hasn’t seen any vehicles at his home, not even a bicycle.
As a matter of fact, my friend doesn’t care much about the boy’s family background or conditions. She wants to stay with her boyfriend just because he is hardworking and industrious, and treats her very well. The problem is my friend’s mother didn’t feel satisfactory about the boy’s family. - If she does love her boyfriend, and do want to be with him, and the boy is also very hard working, the beloved two should be together, whatever her mother likes or not, it is about happiness in rest of her life. Of course, her mother also wants her daughter will lead a happy life.
Sometimes it is a hard chooce, while we have to make it, isn't it?
