I have a pot of scindapsus aureus, which is put on my office table. This green plant is very easy to be raised. I cut two brunches of the scindapsus aureus from the parent plant in another colleague’s flowerpot. Now, mine is growing as lush as hers. Other colleagues also planted several branches, but theirs have already died or don’t grow well.

In principle, scindapsus aureus are easier to survive than other potted green plants. You can either put it into a bottle with sufficient water or plant it inside the soil, and the roots will grow out of the branches several days later. For me, raising a plant is just like feeding a child. You need not to be overprotective, but you have to well nourish it. What you can to do is just water it and loosen the soil regularly. Scindapsus aureus don’t need much sunlight but their leaves spread towards the sunshine. Besides, you should not always touch their leaves.

I grow this scindapsus aureus not only because it can purify the indoor environment but it has another magic function. When you enter into the office and see this green plant that grows well, you will feel refreshing and keep a good mood during the whole day’s work. Isn’t it?
