- Maud, I have read all your blog and just as something I have said on the other posts on your blog, I would have one final thing to say. I am 27 years old and a little older than you. So I guess this applies: When you are young, every little mistake looks like the end of the day; when you get older, you will realize it is just a beginning. Seek help, set up support system,find like-minded people and get healed. Very very crucial!!!!!! I was teased and abused as a kid during my childhood, I survived and now I am so much stronger. I find Buddhism and it helps me let go of the past misery and reinvent myself. If I can do it, so can you! You are still young and you will have a bright future ahead of you. Maybe you can be a feminist or other kind of human right activist or other ways that use your experience to help people who are still in this situation. It happens to you for a reason.Let it be your calling and use it to educate people.Trust me, you will gain strength from this and you will be a wonderful contributor to this society. By the way, if you tell other Chinese this kind of behavior of this men, most of them will be very furious and criticize that man. All you need to do is reach out, even to strangers.
