The air filled with the fragrance of the flowers, soft wind caressing my face, I sat on the bench of a park, observing the young lady who sat beside me with her basket put between us.

In a long white dress, she was knitting in peace, as if the boisterous world had nothing to do with her. She couldn’t be described as a good-looking woman, wearing a pair of glasses on her homely face. However, her serene expression which was full of satisfaction beguiled me deeply.

She may feel a little bit tired since she stopped her work and raised her head to relax. Our eyes met and smiles played on our lips. “Nice day, isn’t it?” She said to me with a gentle yet pleasant voice. “Yeah, indeed. Who are you knitting for?” “I’m knitting a sweater for my little girl.” While she was saying the sentence, I saw a loving face of a mother, so charming. Then, the young mum smiled, picked out a photo from the basket and showed it to me. On the photo, a cheerfully delicate girl was smiling at me. “Wow, she’s a lovely angel!” “Yeah, she is my beloved little angel! Therefore, I put those things about her into my basket.” “Your basket is beautiful.” “Thank you so much! This is a basket of happiness. I put all my pleasant time in it.” “Really? How?” Curiosity occupied my heart. “See the notebook, I wrote all the pleasant time I spent with my family, friends and colleagues in it. All the photos in the basket are precious moment of my life. Those tiny things are souvenirs I picked up or bought during my traveling to other cities. All those things remind me of my happy life as a daughter, a wife and a mother. On such a beautiful day, I’d like to review my pleasant time.”

I listened to the lady who collected her pleasant time in a basket quietly, my heart filled with appreciation and tenderness. At that moment, I was so sure that she was an extraordinarily beautiful woman.
