my trouble about english

My friend suggested I should improve my english level through reading more, writting more, practising more in english. that's a good idea. I will try it for a month see if it is useful.
However,my present trouble is how to increase my words. I find I always forget words after reciting them. it really make me crazy!

- I tried to keep English words in my memory by reciting English dictionary ten years ago. maybe you also can try this stupid way.

- Remember that reciting is not always the best way of learning! The "European" way to learn a language is to remember the words in some context. For example if you learn "一起 = together" you could remember it as "I like to eat at a restaurant together with my friends" - you've put it in a context that is relevant to you. 加油!
