My friend bought a basket of orange on line. I asked her: “why not go shopping on market or any other kinds of department store? Fine, I have to admit that I am out. I can’t accept to buy fruit or some kinds of food from online store. I can’t give up the traditional consumption. I even don’t want to buy clothes or shoes or other daily necessities from online store, not to mention buying fruits or fishes or vegetables. Some friends said that “The online store will replace the physical store one day in future, what the people like you would not adapt to the new high speed developing society, then you will be really out.” I smiled and sure to reply that: “It doesn’t matter, I won’t see that day.” My friend laughed out loudly and said: Wait and see.

I really still don’t agree with my friend. Yes, obviously, we can buy a lot of kinds of goods from online store, even that we can order online meal, and get the meal through rush delivery. But there must be with the premise, it’s that the restaurant still exists. Food is base to life. Even if we can buy fruits or meat from online store, the wholesale market must exist here and there. If not, how the online store owner get the goods to sell online. Maybe it’s not my concern, no need to worry about it.But if the physical store will really disappear one day.

Step back and talk about it, if the day what my friend forecasted comes true, what the people like me will be eliminated by the society. That will be really pity. Maybe it’s not bad thing to try to accept the new things with learning attitude, and it’s better to try to learn more skills to make ourselves survive in the future, as nobody knows what will happen in the coming future.
