Trust crisis of the Red Cross

I don’t have much enthusiasm for donation to the charity. I don’t want to explain that. But why people don’t trust the Red Cross?
The scandals destroy the fame of the organization. It is a concentrated outbreak of lost of trust of the society. There is much they should reflect on this incident.
The property of the organization is state-owned. It is monopolistic. They used to be arrogant. They don’t need to be responsible for the public. They just report to the government and the council. The way they operate the organization is out of step with the development. They do poorly in transparency of the information disclosure and ignore the public voice.
So it is high time that they should do something to win the trust back and perform real deeds efficiently which is conducive to the society.

- The Red Cross Society is famous and very trustworthy around the world, but the name of Red Cross in China stinks to high heaven. The wife of a high official held the top post in the red cross and lived an extravagant luxurious life which is incompatible with the income of a public servant. There are other negative reports about the society too. People are reluctant to donate to the Red Cross and the victims suffer.

- Maybe the scandals are part of the story. We have high expectations of the Red Cross, but what they do compared to other organizations make us disappointed, some of them really do a good job though.
