CONFIDENCE REGAINED

Today is sunday. this afternoon i was free at home but wife was busy organizing an exam for her students as a supervisor in the classroom so she left home early at about 1:20 pm. before her departureve, she repeatedly asked me to have an outgoing with my son because my son had stayed home all the morning doing and correcting his homework. he needs some fresh air. in addition, outside activities will benefit a boy of my son's age so much even if it is only about walking down the road together with his father or mother or altogether. i think my wife is right. as high school teachers. we are both always kept quite busy whenever it is only if students remain at school; and things are especially true for a headteacher like me.
i am always feeling so tired. so i threw myself into bed the moment i came back from school after the routine inspection of students' dormitory. i was lying in bed but i don't think i ever got to sleep duing those 30 minutes. then i got up and asked my son, whose eyes were fixed on his favorite TV programs, to put on his think jacket, and then we two, father and son went out.
i could think of no better place to go to, and so we chose to walk down the nearby street to north. my son seemed to be very happy walking with me, jumping and running forward all the way and constantly asking me his favorite questions. for example, are there any bees as large as locusts? or which type of shark are the most ferocious, or some questions about different types of dinosaurs.
on the green belt beside the big road, some workers are watering flowers and trees with a long water pipe. my son love to play water so much. naturally, he went to some puddles formed by overflown water and began to play there with a little stick he found nearby. i was standing beside him watching him play while talking with an old worker who seemed to be of my father's age. he asked me where i am working. i ponited to my school, answering i work here, No. 1 middle school. immdediately he admired my job and asked me how much i am paid per month. i told him i earned more than 4000 yuan. and he admired me more with my answer for he was only paid less than 1300 yuan a month. hearing his words, i began to feel kind of satisfied with my job. and more confidence came back to me.
