Tomorrow she is going to give a public class in a Township called Tang Wu, a very ancient place with a long history maybe, as can be seen from the its Chinese name--two very peculiar Chinese characters(鄌郚) found in a Chinese language dictionary with the only meaning of A Name of a Place in Changle County Shandong Province. Tang Wu is a good place where i ever worked for a year teaching returnees in the then Changle No. 3 Middle School.
she told me last Friday while we were chatting that all teaching-researching staffs were to give a public class so that teachers of the same subject can be given a chance to have a class observation, after which they may hold a seminar to have a discussion over what they have found about this class; and everybody can air their opinions freely about how he or she feels about this class or about anything that needs to be improved.
She confessed to me that day that she had been away from classroon teaching for almost 5 years, and that it would be hard for her to give as excellent a lesson as other teachers would do however hard she would be preparing beforehand. Hearing this, i was worried about her lack of self-confidence. So i gave her some encouragement as well as some what i think is good advice. I managed to make her believe that she is competent enough to finish off this task, and that she'll do it wonderfully, and even maybe she'll impress others by showing who she really is. I know she would trust me as i can feel from the bottom of my heart. I know my encouragement as well as my confidence in her is of great importance and will play an indispensible role in her triumph tomorrow.
I laid my confidence and trust in her. Meanwhile I'll say my prayers to God to bless her.
Good luck to her.
