There is a phenomenon on this website that if you write a long article with some complicated phrases or sentence styles, few people will come to read or leave comments on your articel. However if the piece you have written is not so lengthy and relatively easy to undertsand, you get more clicks and more comments. This is natural for few people would like to choose for themselves a difficult task. It's humans nature that a man prefer comforts and enjoyments and hate those tough jobs. However, as is often the case, the more you give, the more you receive; the more responsibilities you take, the more you'll be rewarded.
So, we'd better be a wise person and don't be so picky or grumble over what we are told to do. Just be brave to take your responsibilities.

- You are a good writer with rich life experience. Some of your blogs are quite interesting. However, it is not the length of a blog that determines it's worth. It is the topic and the contents which interest people into reading and commenting. Anybody would frown on a lengthy blog because it does take a lot of energy and memory to digest it. Try be brief and to the point and I am sure a lot of readers would show interest and comment accordingly. Have a nice time.

- Thanks for your praising. In fact i need to work harder to learn english well. Here we don't have a native English speaker as a foreign teacher. So i have to depend on reading more and imitate in my mind to practice English. I desire to communicate with a native english speaker.

As sunnyv said that I don't want to take a lot of energy and memory on them. It is why I come here that I can read some meaningful interesting short passage and improve my english easily.

- I agree with Sunny on this point. what i want to add is that we don't write only to be read by others. at least it is not the only purpose. to make friends, practice using the language, or serve as a diary, to name just a few.

- Hey, you're not wrong. Sometimes a short article gets more responds than a long one. However, I found that the shorter one actually is harder to write, especially when you write an Essay.
Learning English needs a lot of time, as long as you aim for your writing practice, don't pay too much attention to the respond rates.
