Two years later, mom found that although she worked day and night, the family was still in poverty. Her enthusiasm was totally consumed out. She heard that Guangzhou was a very rich city, so she decided to go to GZ and work for money.
She found a job in a toy factory, from which she brought back a lovely toy bear for me later. During that time, she ate a little everyday, not more than 3 RMB per day. (Mom's stomach disease was derived from it, and every time I recall this, I want to cry.) She sent back the vast majority of her salaries. One year later, she suffered more from her missing of me. As a young mother, she could not endure the sufferings of seperating from her 3-year-old son. She often woke up suddenly. Sometimes, when a naive voice called "mom" outside her dorm, she would answer it immediately by instinct.
When she came back, at the first sight of me, she hugged her son very tightly and burst into tears, however, her son struggled to leave her and grip his dad's leg very tightly. Her son was not willing to get close to that stranger until she brought out that toy bear.
