Yesterday is Christmas eve, big event for nowadays young people. In my city, the government even block some main roads and forbid people from getting off of main subway stations to avoid accident. Time of the last subway train is also postponed to 1 o'clock. I find it pretty hilarious. How many of those celebrating Christmas are actually Christian? What's the meaning of non-Christians to follow the blind? These years our traditional holidays get much less attention than foreign ones. People, especially younger ones regard Spring Festival as boring, but are wild about holidays like Christmas. As these goes, decades later, when our parents are gone, who is there to inherit our tradition? On the bright side, perhaps people are just tired of everyday's routine work and look for a little fun in life. I hope we could bear in mind our 5000-year tradition, do not follow suit, make our life meaningful.
