How time flies, I’ve been working more than ten years at almost similar field. I've also changed my job several times for a higher salary during those years. But, now, it seems like I'm reaching the ceiling of career, it’s hard to get any room for getting promotion. To be frank, I excluded to be getting promotion in a way from a technical position to management position. Once as a manager, the focus of working will be changed from doing detail things into how to manage a team. It’s totally different point of departure, maybe someone could do it better, as for someone else will not. I thought I was the latter. But, according to the current situation, if you want to get a higher salary or better welfare you must become a manager in the company. Mostly, it’s beyond dispute, the salary for technical position is lower than management position. Maybe we should have a peace of mind and leave things as they are.
Just as one of my friends said as an ordinary employee what should do is to do the current job and wait and see the opportunity occurs to you.
